CURB INLET FILTER
Small modular units are placed inside the vaults, at the throat opening, and filter appx. 85% of discharges entering the structure. Three (3) different lengths are available and used in combinations can fit virtually any width opening. Available in 2-foot, 3-foot and 3.5-foot lengths. Filtration occurs at 0.40 Cfs per s/f weir surface area, i.e a 3' unit = 1.2 Cfs
CURB OUTLET / PARKWAY DRAINS
Placed at the discharge entry point into the concrete structure, the filter is placed at a slight upward angle so that water is forced to "climb" the filter weir, leaving behind the larger, heavier, debris towards the bottom of the weir. Water "climbs" the weir and passes downwards through the filter weir and discharges onto the street. Units can be as small as 2' W x 2'L to as large as 6' W x 4'L. Perfect for cities where there isn't any storm drainage systems, i.e. downtown San Diego next to the harbor.
Filtration occurs at 0.40 Cfs per s/f weir surface area, i.e. a 4' x 4' unit = 6.4 Cfs
CATCH BASIN FILTERS
Multiple weirs are placed (horizontally) inside the concrete structure, sitting on aluminum "shelves". The first weir the discharges encounter is the trash / debris weir, removes anything large than 1/2-inch. The 2nd and 3rd weirs are slightly undersized and are placed in an offset manner, providing both capture & filtration of appx. 85% of the discharges and a high-flow bypass. Units range for our smallest (2' x 2') to the largest at 6' x 6'.
Filtration occurs at 0.40 Cfs per s/f of weir surface area, i.e. a 3' x 3' unit = 3.6 Cfs
TRASH / DEBRIS SCREENS
Mounted to the curb face with "Lok-Tite" 306 Stainless Steel Concrete Anchor Pins, captures and retains up to 85% of annual trash from entering the curb inlet structures, maintaining positive drainage throughout the structure, while providing a small high-flow bypass area for heavy rainfall events. Made of 11 Gauge metal units can withstand direct contact from street sweepers and spring back into shape while are resistant to long-term damages. Unit patterns / designs can be custom-designed to meet your specifications and are powder-coated to insure longer life cycles. From as small as a 3-foot opening to as large as a 20-foot opening, units are modular and come in a variety of widths, i.e. 2-foot, 3-foot, 4-foot, 6-foot, etc. Units can be joined together to provide protection across the of virtually any width. Less expensive than other types of competing devices and don't spring open and release debris into inlet structures during heavy rain events.
